Talent at Outpost

I am in Kansas City, visiting Outpost Productions, an astonishing high definition video production facility by any definition (pun intended). The people at Outpost say they are “two days from anywhere,” and they have the credits to prove it — broadcast production shoots on nearly every continent.

Outpost is owned by a old friend and colleague, Michael Wunsch.

Our first project together was in 1990 when my client — Polygram — asked me to find a way to promote an upcoming event in Rome … a concert the would bring together the world’s three best tenors for the first time. That was the first Three Tenors concert, and the video production that Michael supervised has become legend.

My strategy that included the video helped launch the recording and accompanying concert video of the event to become the biggest-selling classical recording in history.

The team at Outpost and Michael are now producing everything from television programs to full-length documentaries and motion pictures, all in high definition.
