Microsoft: Moist & Chewy Vista?
Okay, I admit it. I don’t get the new Microsoft TV ad starring Jerry Seinfeld and Bill Gates. Does it try to say something … clever, cool, subtle, intriguing … about Microsoft’s Vista operating system?
The punch line seems to be Seinfeld saying, “Moist and chewy…” Honestly, I simply don’t get it.
The Apple TV spots, by comparison, are brilliant. But this Microsoft TV spot? Massively dumb or over my head? I am willing to accept the latter if someone explains it to me.
Did they actually pay Seinfeld $10 million to do it? What am I missing?! Would someone please explain?

Yeah, I don’t get it either! It’s too long and clever for me. I think I changed channel half way through watching it last night. Just as an FYI,I never change channel when a new Apple commercial I have never seen comes on…
Kathleen,
Thanks for the observation. That makes two of us. Maybe someone will weigh in and explain the significance of the ads.
