MSNBC Convention Aftermath
There is a reason MSNBC has been continually dead last in the cable news rating, as L. Brent Bozell III writes for the Media Research Center.
As anyone who had the stomach to watch the channel witnessed during the political Republican convention, Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews are not a respected journalistic match. They are loud, rude, insulting, talking head pundits. Former congressman Joe Scarboro, who anchors MSNBC in the morning even though he’s not a journalist, is a mean-spirited lightweight. Their behavior makes many viewers seek an alternative, regardless of politics.
