Video Story Treatment: The Barber’s Diaries
I have been working for some months with Outpost Worldwide – an indie film and cinema HD video production studio – and filmmaker/director Kevin Willmott to bring a remarkable, very timely and inspiring story to television screens … and, hopefully, the motion picture screens.
It’s The Barber’s Diaries, the story of Charles Everett Ellis, who was a barber in a small Illinois town during the 1920s, and the only black man in town. We believe we, as a nation, are at a historic time when such a story carries a profound message.
Kevin recently sat down in an Outpost Worldwide studio to share his feelings and to talk about the importance of the project.

This is just such a fabulous project. I’m so happy that it’s coming along so nicely
It is a wonderful story. A hidden gem that I thank you for trying to get into the public. The depth of insights into his writing rival those of Heraclitus. -BEST LUCK. I’m tuned in!
