Dear David,
I have just started your book “The Media Savy Leader” which I believe is a “must read” for managers and leaders in the current competetive world that is so much dependant on media and communication. Geerous of you now to offer free online your 22 pages-long ebook “The Media Savvy in the Internet Era” which is concise, short, and pointed to the Internet. But it is not something you would read and digest in 15 minutes. I think it is a basic paper for a professionally “must do” workshop for managers and leaders to reconsider how to behave vis-a-vis Internet.
Congratulations and all the best,
Abbas Djavadi
Dear David,
I just received your ebook “Media Savvy in the Internet Era” and I want to make my feelings known to you and your readers. First I want to thank you for such a vibrant and important resource. As a career strategist and social media strategist, this document is monumental in it’s importance to my business message. The mere fact it comes from a former old school, well decorated, media pundit is all that much more impressive.
I agree 100% with your message and I am a believer that we are entering the greatest time in Human history for communication, connectivity, collaboration, and the ability for individuals to move their message of expertise and value forward. Traditional media no longer has the stranglehold on information, no longer has complete control over the flow of information, and no longer has the successful business model formula of charging money for information.
I am teaching workshops in Silicon Valley to a highly experienced, expert, and restless group of unemployed professionals. Your ebook will be the basis for a major part of my push for these people to adopt Web 2.0 and social media tools for their job search.
Concurrently, I will be speaking at Product Management and Print Industry conferences with small business owners up to large corporations. My message to these audiences will be the same as to the unemployed professionals I support, Web 2.0 is the biggest opportunity in the largest paradigm shift today: control of our messages and brands.
Thank you very much for this great book. If I may be of service to you in the future, in moving your message forward, please do not hesitate to call upon me. I am grateful for your contributions here with this book and on your blog as a Web 2.0 and social media evangelist.

@dean guadagni,
Dean … truly, I am speechless by your praise. Thank you. Couple of things … the premise is continued in my new book, The Media Savvy Leader; it would be a blast to one day have a chance to team with you on consulting or a conference; and, well, thank you.

Complimenti vivissimi per l\’articolo! My compliments for article! Thank you!
David,
Thank you for the eye in the sky.
Times are growing more and more incredible for those of us that belong to genY. Yet, knowing exactly where to turn for tried, tested, and most importantly, experienced knowledge and information, can have such a powerful force on us. Thank you for being a doer (or i suppose done-er) and not just an opinionated informer like so many that haven’t watched it all from the beginning.
