Fair enough, you receive a lot of emails that don't apply to you or your interests, we all receive those, but then what is the answer for the public relations professional trying to reach what they believe is the appropriate person who can "spread the message"? Your article does little to explain what the "better way" is.

David, as you have made ABUNDANTLY clear in your book "Making News in a Digital Age," The Old Style of Public Relations is seriously broken, but sadly the majority of PR practitioners will not/cannot admit it.

Your book should open their eyes, and let's hope it gets to them. In 170 pages you've laid a pretty solid foundation. Here's a link to my first blog post recommending the book: http://tinyurl.com/ykx7z6g.

I talk with many PR teachers looking for something relevant to share with their students. Let's hope they, also, get the message and that then we'll gave a more savvy crew of people entering the field.

Sorry if I've ruffled any feathers, but Come On Guys & Dolls in PR, Get With It.
