Whatever You Think, Palin Wins

MSNBC's Ed Schultz ... yacking without thinking
Okay, for the sake of the stone-throwers, I’m not a big Sarah Palin fan. But I do have to admire what she has achieved – whether masterfully or unwittingly – by manipulating and capturing enormous publicity for herself and her new book … especially through the dopey television carnival cable channels that bash her the most, like MSNBC.
The Palin-bashers are, in reality, feeding the Palin publicity frenzy.
Just watch what’s happening – we have become such a polarized society – largely driven by the sensational-oriented, so-called TV talk programs on cable (masquerading as “news”) – that Palin’s loudest critics have inadvertently become a publicity machine to benefit Palin, resulting in enormous book sales for the former Alaska governor and huge crowds for her appearances. I seriously doubt if Palin, herself, could achieve such success without her shrill detractors who are actually promoting her.
Here’s a recent example … a loud-mouthed MSNBC doofus named Ed Schultz of “The Ed Show” makes fun of Palin for getting Iraq and Iran mixed up in an interview on Fox News. And, in doing do, Schultz creates huge publicity for both Palin and Fox. I can only suspect that the publicity people at Fox and on Palin’s team must be high-fiving over such unwitting supporters. Watch …
I thought “Ed” was a talking horse …

NIce catch. Like her or hate her, she has become news and people are buying her book, not buy the thousands, but hundreds of thousands. As for not knowing the difference between Iran and Iraq, oh please, Ed Schultz, to misspeak is easy, just ask candidate now President Obama who said we had 57 states. Does anyone really believe he doe not know the correct answer. Perhaps this is why almost no one watches MSNBC now.
She is all sizzle and no steak. A flash in the pan.
It’s been a long time since the Republicans have been in this bad shape. (And, no, I’m not a liberal. I’m a centrist who has voted Republican plenty of times.)
The Republican’s mouthpiece (Limbaugh) has been kicked out by the NFL because of his intolerance. Their face (Palin) is so inept, she makes Bush, Jr. look like he knew what he was doing. And their brains (Coulter) called the 9/11 widows “whimps.”
These are very dark days indeed for the Republicans.

Sarah Palin is principled and smart. Elitist liberals hate her because of what she represents — hard-working, middle-class Americans, and not the snobs in media and academia who think they’re so damn smart and sophisticated, and better than everyone else. If Sarah Palin were so irrelevant, she would not be so bashed in the media. Btw, I hope the democrats get a rude awakening in the 2010 elections by being voted out. And … we need term limits.
