		<description>Some good points here David. Social media is about relationships and building trust around your brand, not about selling. An increase in sales is a nice bi-product but should not be the aim. If you only use social media to promote yourself, you will be spotted a mile away. I agree with your teamwork approach. Social media works best when it is fully integrated with the overall communications strategy of an organization.

I have also come across many alleged social media &quot;experts&quot; who quite often come from an advertising and sales background and have added social media to their bag of services. When you check out their social media profiles they have a few dozen followers and last tweeted about a week ago...</description>
