Among many achievements:

• Managed an omnibus strategic communications initiative for CSX Transportation in support of the railroad's acquisition of Conrail that included forging critical support with state and local officials, building relationships in Washington with government decision makers, enlisting media support and improving employee communications between the two companies.

• Developed and managed the corporate image and reputation management practice for Edelman Worldwide in Washington, D.C.

• Created a favorable image for Microsoft before opinion-leaders, the public and the press in support of the company’s defense during the U.S. v. Microsoft case in federal court.

• Recalibrated the image of the national 4-H organization, the world’s largest youth development group that resulted in an increase in revenue and members.

• Supervised a strategic communications plan for the merger of BF Goodrich and Coltec Industries.

• Directed public affairs and media advocacy in support of litigation before federal courts and the Supreme Court on behalf of Kuwaiti detainees being held at Guantanamo, working together with the Kuwaiti government, ICB Kuwait and a team of Washington attorneys. The achievements helped to make Guantanamo an international human rights issue.

• Piloted Gulfstream's image for a successful $2-billion IPO and built awareness of the Gulfstream V, the world's most expensive business jet, and established the "Gulfstream" brand as the hallmark for business aircraft worldwide. As head of global marketing, advertising and corporate communications for Gulfstream Aerospace, repositioned the company's reputation and brand worldwide through marketing promotions and media relations in North America, Europe, the Pacific Rim, the Middle East and Africa. During this time, Gulfstream sales increased 400 percent.

• Counseled Bombardier Aerospace on enhancing media influence for reputation and awareness building in North America and Europe in support of business expansion.
